Giambattista Valli Is Launching New Athleisure Wear Collection

Utterly known for his lavish cocktail dresses and Oscar-worthy evening gowns, Valli, has driven his label to another direction. During the past few seasons, he incorporated Nike running tights in his fall 2017 ready-to-wear collection. Followed by his tasteful contribution to the success of Moncler ‘Gamme Rouge’, a joint collection designed with Moncler. Now Valli is ready to hop on the athleisure wagon with a new capsule collection of active wear.

The unseen collection

The French house is partnering up with the Pinault family for a retail push. In January, the luxury brand will unveil its activewear collection existing of 50 to 60 pieces. Including coats, puffer jackets, sweatshirts, and tracksuits. As stated the unseen collection will look extremely Valli, sophisticated and luxurious.

With prices starting from €1,100 and going up to €2,500, the luxury athleisurewear line will drop in June 2018. In addition, you’ll be able to shop Valli’s activewear in Giambattista Valli boutiques and selected stores.

“It’s a capsule collection where we will express a more functional side of the brand while remaining faithful to the atmosphere of contemporary chic that is part of its DNA,” Giambattista Valli told WWD in an exclusive interview. “I love the idea of introducing new materials to activewear by applying the house’s know-how in handling certain fabrics to this segment,” he added.
