The beauty world is constantly being showered with new products. Every week, we’re sharing our beauty crush of the week. A stunning beauty look, a great product or a cosmetic revelation, everything is possible! If we crush, we do it hard. This week’s beauty crush: Rihanna’s already iconic golden Trophy Wife highlighter from her new beauty line.
There’s one golden rule in my universe: miss Rihanna can do no wrong. She delivers hot ass music, serves fire looks, brought Puma back from the dead and this week, she also rocked the beauty world. Her much-anticipated makeup line Fenty Beauty finally came out, and it was everything we needed it to be.

With 40 shades of foundation and products that are wearable for all skin tones, Rihanna was not playing around. Diversity rules and Riri knows it. She catered to beauties of all colors while simultaneously setting an example for other beauty brands out there. Step. Up. Your. Game.
With foundations, contour sticks, setting powder and even a primer, Fenty Beauty has it all, but the one product that has everyone talking is the already iconic Trophy Wife highlighter.
Rihanna’s golden glow
In the teaser video for Fenty Beauty and on the official launch party, Rihanna was wearing a stunning golden glittery highlight. Applied all over her cheeks AND her eyes, and it captured the light like no other. When it became clear which highlighter she was wearing, it was done: that yellow toned highlighter became the instant star of the show. Well, in the shadow of badgalriri of course. No one outshines Rihanna.
The highlighter in question is a Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter called Trophy Wife. Truly, it is a beautiful multi-dimensional glittery golden gem. It looks beautiful on people of colour, but I’ve seen it on people with lighter complexions too, and it looks stunning as well. You can not only use it as a highlight, but also as an eyeshadow, or as a topper over lipstick. The possibilities are endless!
Everything Fenty Beauty is available right now on www.fentybeauty.com, but also on Sephora.com or at Harvey Nichols for people living in the UK. All Killawatt glows retail for $34, which is not too bad, especially if you’re getting that Rihanna glow everyone craves for. Get into it!
