Havana Club Organizes Workshops in Brussels for Young Creatives

Usually, September 1st isn’t the day we look forward to the most, but this year will be an exception. To celebrate the end of summer, Havana Club Grounds will be organizing various creative workshops and events at Plein Publiek in Brussels.

Are you interested in DJing, photography, event management, or fashion? Then the Havana Club Grounds event will be exactly where you need to be on September 1st. The famous rum brand came up with a selection of workshops and masterclasses that will show the most important steps in the development of one’s own creative activity in relation to nightlife. It’s an experimental program that invites you to discover, learn, work, and create together while sharing the energy of ‘Cubania’, the creative mentality of the rum nation.

The line up

Experts in their field such as Zoey Hasselbank, Ekany, TanaFlow and Eijun (DJing), Alexandre Brehm and Julia Dubois Rosca (photography), Reda le Rouge and Bootlegz Laboratory (event management and fashion) will be present to share their knowledge with you. On the menu: involvement, inclusiveness, local anchoring, and sustainability.

After the workshops, a transversal masterclass—led by Mlle Laure—will be held with Jon Tyler, Jeny BSG, Laure M. Fornier, and Carl Cash Knight. Each speaker will say something about their background and how they broke through in the field of their choice. To end the day in style, all the elements taught during the workshops will be brought together for a party.

Havana Club Grounds event—September 1st from 2 p.m.—Plein Publiek and Kunstberg, Brussels. Free registration for the event is possible through the Havana Club Instagram page
