Last-Minute Valentine’s Day Idea: Say It With Your Chest!

V-day has arrived, and if you—just like us—need some last-minute and cheap ideas to surprise your lover, look no further! Philips’ new OneBlade campaign has the perfect idea: say it with your chest (or any other body part that has hair).

It’s cheap, creative, and we’re sure your loved one won’t forget it anytime soon. But how do you shave a message or word into your chest? “First, draw or write whatever you want to shave. This will make sure you won’t end up with ‘muf’ instead of ‘muffin’ on your chest,” face painter and hair sculptor Sanne Schoofs explains. “If you’re using a Philips OneBlade, it’s pretty easy. It follows the contours of your body. Extra tip: use color to accentuate the shape even more.”

To help spread the message, Philips asked us to create a campaign featuring the #SayItWithYourChest idea, using the brand’s OneBlade. It was shot by Sloan Laurits and executed perfectly by makeup and hair artist Sanne Schoofs. Start scrolling to see the results.
