Nicolas Ghesquière traveled a few decades back in time in order to create a collection inspired by those people and cliques. He returned to an era in which Instagram and the World Wide Web didn’t have any influence on how people looked: like some kind of copy of everyone else.
This resulted in an eclectic collection with an obvious wink to the ’80s. High waisted jumpsuits, shoulder pads and ruffled dresses. After a lot of classic, bourgeois influences prevailing fashion week, this felt like a sweet, playful intermezzo.
