LIVESTREAM: Virgil Abloh Shows His Menswear SS20 Collection for Louis Vuitton

During Paris Fashion Week, Thursday, June 20 Virgil Abloh presented his SS2020 menswear collection for Louis Vuitton at Place Dauphine in Paris. This is his third collection for the fashion house.

Flowers – the wonder of nature

Virgil Abloh, Men’s Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton created a beautiful collection inspired by the habitual and the natural. A big part of the collection are flowers, the wonders of nature. They are the rising stars of horticulture and create natural harmony and peace of mind. In big cities, you’ll find them at magnificent buildings, bridges, and pavements to which we grow partially blind.

The fashion show took place on Place Dauphine, a routine stroll across Pont Neuf from the Louis Vuitton studios. A combination of the ordinariness of everyday life with the typical idea of boyhood bliss — a bouncy castle, ice cream, balloons, and kite-flying — made a beautiful scenery.  This, of course, all while being surrounded by the remarkable Parisian architecture.
