Louis Vuitton Opened a Pop-Up Store in New York City

After London, Shanghai and Tokyo, French luxury label Louis Vuitton will bring their next pop-up shop to New York City, from July 12 to July 21. This time Virgil Abloh chose to pop up at the Lower East Side. As for the location, it’s a reference to the setting of their January show in Paris. Mark July 12 in your calendars and scroll down for more info.

The Louis Vuitton FW19 pop-up store

The pop-up, which will be open from July 12 to July 21, is a 6,000-square-foot space at 132 Ludlow Street that’ll focus on LV’s FW2019 men’s collection designed by Virgil Abloh. Not only the monogrammed accessories, but also the brand new Louis Vuitton sneakers, shirts, sweaters, flag-print items and the renewed Louis Vuitton “Skate” sneakers will be displayed.

Just like their bright pop-up shop in Chicago, the New York store will include a monochromatic interior and exterior design with furniture and figures all covered in neon green.

The location

As for the vibes on the location, it’s a clear shoutout to the FW19 show street setting in Paris. Which we thought was nice and clever. We took a screenshot from google maps to see how the building looks like before the changes. Now, we’re even more excited to see how the installation will look like.

We don’t know if their New York pop-up will be as impressive as the one in Chicago. However, knowing how creatively the brand operates, we’re sure it will be something smart, tasteful and artistic.

Anyhow, more exclusive details and a closer look inside the pop-up shop will come soon. For now, you might want to mark July 12 in your calendars.
