Martha Da’ro Drops Very Promising Debut Single ‘Summer Blues’

Martha Da’ro has already made some waves in the music industry with hip-hop collective Soul’Art and she’s no stranger to the film industry either. She’s an award-winning actress for her role as Mavela in the movie ‘Black’. As a solo artist, Martha Da’ro shows emotional and musical maturity with a debut single called “Summer Blues”.

To kick off her solo career, Martha Da’ro played her first show on Monday the 12th of November as the opening act of British neo-soul artist Mahalia in Brussels.

Summer Blues

“Summer Blues” is the first single of an upcoming EP called Cheap Wine & Paris, which will be released in February 2019. Something to look forward to! The first single has a soulful and dreamy vibe to it, which we absolutely love. It’s both intimate and powerful.

Martha Da’ro’s debut single is accompanied with a video that was filmed by Yaqine Hamzaoui and directed by herself. It was shot during her trips to Paris, L.A., Berlin and Ostend. Other parts were shot at her apartment in Ghent. Watch the video and keep an eye on Martha Da’ro from now on!
