Must-Visit: ‘Activewear’ Exhibition Curated by Olympic Athletes Élodie Ouédraogo and Olivia Borlée

There’s no denying that activewear has become the fashion craze of the last few years. Even high-end designers and fashion houses have embraced it by collaborating with athletes and sports brands. So, high time for the ‘Activewear’ exhibition, highlighting the relationship between fashion and sports.

Since Olympic athletes and founders of 42|54  Élodie Ouédraogo and Olivia Borlée are the figureheads of Belgian activewear, they make the ideal curators for Activewear. Featured on the campaign image shot by Ronald Stoop, the athletes can be seen wearing their favorite Belgian designer, Glenn Martens of Y/Project.

Activewear has a bunch in store for its visitors with designs by big fashion names such as Chanel, Christian Dior Couture, and Raf Simons. Not to mention, the sneaker corner includes the exclusive Air Dior sneaker. Visitors can also look forward to an audio guide voiced by Élodie Ouédraogo, Olivia Borlée, and Belgian cartoonist Jeroom Snelders to give you a unique look at Activewear. The apotheosis of the exhibition is the digital artwork created by Frederik Heyman (Lady Gaga) called Second Skin, A Virtual Trophy with Élodie Ouédraogo and Olivia Borlée taking on the role of the protagonists.
