Must-Visit Electronic Dance Festivals in Belgium for Summer 2024

Belgium is known and celebrated for its excellent festivals. Yet, there are so many festivals happening that it can be hard to know where to go. So, we’ve chronologically listed various Belgian festivals below, each blending (electronic) music with stunning art and rich culture. Make sure to scroll through to the last festival in this list because it might just be the best one.

Horst Arts and Music

The three-day immersive festival occurs from May 9 until May 11 at ASIAT, which is an old military terrain in Vilvoorde. The lineup consists of Alex Sourbis, NIKS, Fais Le Beau & Eoin DJ, Emily Jeanne, Leeon, and many more. Horst blends art and music with stages designed by different artists.

Tickets for Horst are sold out, but keep an eye out for available tickets on Ticketswap. For more information and the full lineup, check out the Horst website.

Klub Dramatik

With three stages, an intimate vibe, killer lineups, and dreamy stage designs, Klub Dramatik has been winning over the hearts of dancers all over Belgium and beyond. This year’s impressive lineup features some of our favorites, including Dana Montana, Ilias, Rozevelt, OK Williams, Violently Happy, and many more. Especially the Forest stage on Sunday—hosted by Lovegroove—is something we’re very excited about.

The Nachtegalenpark in Antwerp will be transformed into the playground of the electronic festival with three different stages on May 18 and May 19.

Get your tickets to Klub Dramatik via the website. Check out their Instagram for more information on the lineup and the festival.

Paradise City

Lauded as the world’s most sustainable music festival at the International AGF Awards, Paradise City is a frontrunner when it comes to sustainability at festivals. From June 28 until June 30, big names such as Bibi Seck, Angel D’lite & DJ Sweet6teen, DJ Gigola, Jane Fitz, Job Jobse, Marlon Hoffstadt, Ogazón, and more are bringing the vibes to Steenokkerzeel, near Brussels.

Our favorite stage at Paradise City is usually the Forest Stage because of its unique setting. And looking at the lineup of that stage, this year will be no different—I mean, Byron Yeates in a B2B set with Fais Le Beau, are you kidding me????

Get your tickets via the Paradise City website. Discover the full lineup via the artist page.

LLOSS festival

LLOSS is probably the underdog in this list. An impressive 27 electronic music artists will be performing at LLOSS, an inclusive outdoor festival in Kruibeke. With stages designed by young and versatile designers, the Antwerp-based organization behind LLOSS says innovating and collaborating with diverse creatives is a priority. The lineup includes Erykah, Dana Montana, and Oko Stellar.

Paradisco

One of the smaller festivals on this list; Paradisco at the Belgian seaside! The day festival is located on the beach and decorated with numerous art installations and stages. Among the artists performing are Fais Le Beau, Afra, Kenny Montana, and the festival’s founder, John Noseda. Paradisco is taking place on July 26, 27, and 28 and offers disco, house, Italo, and hi-nrg music.

WeCanDance

Because of WECANDANCE’s very big focus on fashion and festival looks, the lineup is often overlooked. But over the course of two weekends, a massive amount of electronic artists will be gracing the six stages of beach festival WECANDANCE on the beach in Zeebrugge. Some of our favorites on the lineup include Job Jobse, Sedef Adasi, R.Omy, Roi Perez, Gabrielle Kwarteng, Bibi Seck, and DJ Gigola, just to name a few.

Each year, the festival announces a theme and encourages guests to come dressed in the theme. “Drop in the Light, Rise in the Dark” is this year’s WECANDANCE theme. This summer, the festival takes place across two weekends: August 3-4 and 10-11.

Check out the WeCanDance website for more information and the full lineup. You can find tickets and prices via the WeCanDance ticket site.

Pukkelpop

With nine stages and an annual attendance of around 180.000 people, Pukkelpop is one of Belgium’s biggest festivals. The festival’s 2024 lineup so far includes Fred Again.., Brutalismus 3000, Ki/Ki, Romy, but also Sam Smith and Jorja Smith. More names are yet to be announced.

From August 15 to 18, Pukkelpop is bringing a wide variety of genres and artists to Belgium.

Doel Festival

The most upcoming and promising festival in Belgium right now is Doel Festival, and we are not saying this lightly. Doel Festival is taking place inside an almost fully abandoned village near Antwerp and right next to a working nuclear power plant. The village is characterized by houses with graffiti and empty streets and squares.

During the festival, the mythicism and apocalyptic vibes of Doel merge with some of the best music and art, resulting in an unmatched vibe. It brings together a truly open-minded crowd that reminds us of the better parties in Berlin or Amsterdam. The festival just released its first few names of the lineup, including legends such as Eris Drew, JASSS, u.r.trax, and more!
