Grey is not only one of the best and easiest colors to style, but it’s also synonymous with New Balance’s heritage. For this year’s “Grey Day” celebrations the brand pays tribute to its signature colorway by introducing three bespoke iterations of the 327, 5740, and XC-72 silhouettes in various grey hues.
This year’s “Grey Day” also colors a bit green. All three sneakers have bright green insoles, which comply with New Balance’s newly established Green Leaf Standard. The initiative is all about using more environmentally friendly materials with uppers featuring more than 50 percent recycled or organic materials.
