Cheap And Chic
Both late Franco Moschino and Jeremy Scott share the ideology that fashion should be anti-elitist. This was the main reason why Franco once created his famous sub-line and the mindset also perfectly fits the choice to collaborate with H&M. From the start, it was the Swedish chain store’s goal to let designers create a collection that was affordable for a larger audience.
Jeremy Scott made sure that all Moschino highlights are present in this collection. The amount of gold, metallics, bold color combos, big logos and ’90s elements. Along with a Mickey Mouse capsule collection to celebrate the Disney icon’s 90th birthday. H&M x Moschino is fun, colorful, shiny and sexy. As the designer said himself, “I want to be a bright light in the midst of so much darkness; people need a moment, a break from it.”
Not Another ’90s Editorial
