Pepsi MAX and Tomorrowland Launch Second ‘The Sound of Tomorrow’

Anyone with a love for DJ’ing, listen up. For the second year in a row, Pepsi MAX and Tomorrowland call on all amateur DJs and producers to participate in their contest ‘The Sound of Tomorrow’.

Upcoming DJ-talent needs a platform now more than ever. Especially with Tomorrowland and other live music events being canceled worldwide. The Sound of Tomorrow aims to give unknown DJs a place in the spotlights.

Who will be the new Sound of Tomorrow?

Just like last year’s first edition, Dutch DJ and producer Fedde Le Grand takes on the role of mentor again. This time, he’s accompanied by EMPRA, the 2019 winner of the contest. Together they’ll give exclusive tips and advice to all the participating young DJs and support, steer and inspire them while creating their mixes.

On July 7, Pepsi MAX and Tomorrowland will organize a live stream where the contestants from all over Europe compete against each other to become the new Sound of Tomorrow. In total, the quest for their next big talent consists out of three phases:

1.  An open call to DJs from all levels across Europe to participate. You have to send in your mix before June 10 via TheSoundOfTomorrow.com

2. Fedde and a team of music experts create a list of finalists that will compete in the big live stream.

3. The big live finale will be streamed across all Tomorrowland channels on July 7.

During the live stream, viewers can vote for their favorite DJ. Afterward, the jury will announce the new Sound Of Tomorrow winner.
