In 1908, Delvaux lodged the first world patent for a women’s leather handbag, becoming the inventor of the modern handbag. To celebrate that impressive heritage and some promising future collections, the brand invited Belgian and international creatives for a special evening. It was a moment for Belgians in Paris to come together and celebrate one of their most valuable heritage brands; Delvaux.
The location for this event was Hôtel d’Évreux, where the Belgian brand took over multiple rooms to display its new collections. One room was filled with only vintage designs, ranging from the year 1938 to now. Delvaux presented some of their best work, from color-changing handbags to ostrich leather bags finished with solid gold.
