Premiere: Rare Akuma Shares BTS Of His New Album In Mini Docu

Every once in a while, we discover an artist that is far more than just an artist. Rare Akuma is a musical genius and has established himself as one of the hottest rappers and producers of Belgium. His incomparable approach to trap, hip hop, and rage core has put him on the map, and he’s ready to get even bigger with the release of his new album. Today, we’re exclusively premiering a mini-documentary made during the creation process of ‘dirtyminustwo’.

The Belgian rap scene has grown a lot over the past years, and Rare Akuma is definitely one of the frontrunners of this new generation of game-changers. His first record AKUMA SEASON has proven the ingenuity of the Antwerp-based artist and has silenced every critic that ever doubted his ability to create an epic project like this. Big acts like $uicideboy$ or XXXTentacion, who we sadly lost in 2018, have expressed their love for his production style and helped him gain some international attention which led to millions of streams on Spotify. Any more proof needed that Rare Akuma is a real whizz-kid?

A mini docu

Since the Antwerp concert venue Trix decided that Akuma is one of their ‘artists in residence’ for this year, the album-making process got a big boost because Antwerp’s finest can use all the facilities (including a studio) of the venue. “I’m very thankful for this opportunity because it allows us to invite plenty of friends to collaborate on music without having to invite them to my home studio,” he says about the occasions Trix offers him by giving him free studio time.

In a mini-documentary, Trix and Akuma give us some insides on how the new album dirtyminustwo is being created. Collaborators like Yung Mavu and Tsar B take the floor to talk about working with Akuma on his new project that will come out next fall and underline the power of Rare as an artist and producer. The future of Rare Akuma is looking extremely bright and we feel that his next steps can elevate him to international stardom!
