Rokh: Our Favorite Brand Du Moment

Sometimes we ask ourselves the question: “If you could spend all your money on one collection right now, which one would it be?” Right now, the answer would be Rokh. We’ve been following the London-based designer Rok Hwang since he won the LVMH Special Prize in 2018. This label is totally worth bringing out all of our credit cards.

Before starting his own label he studied at Central Saint Martins and worked at Chloé, Louis Vuitton and old Céline. Quite a resume indeed. In February this year he opened Paris Fashion Week with the first runway show in the city. As to be expected, it was warmly welcomed. With around 100 stockists around the world, including Mytheresa, Net-a-Porter and Selfridges, the brand is growing slowly but surely.

Playing with Contrast

Rokh is known for its collections full of contrasts: feminine, yet youth-oriented, both classic and cool, deconstructed with an eye for finishing. All the designs also have a playful part and can be modified as you wish. Trousers and coats can be unbuttoned, sleeves are worn tied-up or ultra long. It’s a dream for anyone who likes to be creative with styling.
