St Vincents Presents Exclusive Residency by Parisian Brand Pierre Augustin Rose

This fall, St. Vincents, an Antwerp-based art and design gallery, brings you an exclusive showcase by the Parisian brand Pierre Augustin Rose. This residency is a special celebration of their enduring partnership. Pierre Augustin Rose will take center stage on the gallery’s ground gloor, offering a glimpse of their carefully curated furniture and lighting collection.

The Visionary Minds Behind the Brand

At the heart of Pierre Augustin Rose are the innovative minds of Pierre Bénard, Augustin Deleuze, and Nina Rose. Their deep love for unique spaces and their profound knowledge of 20th-century art and design influences their creative direction. Together, they reimagine classic design styles through a modern lens.

“In perfect harmony towards the same ambition of style, we do not seek to participate in a competition of originality but to impose with integrity, a personal style, an ode to the perennial modernity without giving up certain audacity.” — Pierre Bénard

Exploring the World of Semi Kim

In collaboration with Korean artist Semi Kim, this residency marks a significant milestone for the gallery. With more than 20 distinctive pieces created by the design trio, this program provides a thorough dive into the studio’s vision, principles, and sources of inspiration. It also offers visitors the opportunity to engage with the collection and gain insight into the meticulous craftsmanship that went into creating these works.

Craftsmanship at Its Finest

The commitment to French modernism and craftsmanship shines through in Pierre Augustin Rose‘s collection. You’ll find exquisite lacquers, high-quality fabrics, and impeccable detailing. Notably, their “Fumoir” leather lounge chair stands as a pinnacle of French savoir-faire, taking up to 45 days to complete.

An Unconventional Presentation

This exhibition breaks away from traditional showroom norms. It features a distinctive backdrop that complements the luxurious Parisian collection, as described by Geraldine Jackman, co-founder of St. Vincents.

Explore a captivating blend of iconic and contemporary items, including the curvaceous Sofa 280, the bold Minitore armchair, and the Polus 002 chair with a sled-shaped oak base. The Forum Table, Daphne chairs, and Eole pendant light offer a diverse and captivating display.

Immediate Purchase Opportunity

While the usual waiting time for custom orders is 16 to 18 weeks, the items on display at the exhibition will be available for immediate purchase and delivered after the show, bypassing the standard lead times.

This exclusive showcase runs until 25 November, 2023. It is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of Pierre Augustin Rose.
