Iconic boutique closed
In 2017, Colette Roussaux decided to close her famous boutique on the rue St Honoré in Paris, which left many fans heartbroken. Although the concept store was still extremely popular, Roussaux wanted to stop because of her age. She left at an all-time high and wanted her daughter to spend more time with her children.
Back in the day, Colette became an iconic brand that created communities, fashion, and culture. Among its fans were Karl Lagerfeld and Virgil Abloh. Moreover, Colette launched many designers, like Jeremy Scott who presented his Swatch collection at Colette in 2011.
Colette, Mon Amour
To honor its iconic legacy, brands La Pac and HIGHSNOBIETY collaborated on a documentary Colette, Mon Amour. This love letter features testimonials from icons like Kanye West and Pharrell Williams. Besides the documentary, a dedicated pop-up shop opened for ten days in Paris with souvenirs last February.
‘Colette, Mon Amour’ premiered on 26 September in Japan, the last stop on the global tour of its documentary film.
