1. COBRAH — FEMININE ENERGY

On October 13, COBRAH will release her new EP, SUCCUBUS, which will undoubtedly set the club scene ablaze. Her new single, “FEMININE ENERGY”, has once again become a sexy and sensual banger, where the hard beats help you to let go of everything for a moment and make you relinquish control to the ruler that is COBRAH. The Swedish artist thoroughly captivates you with her music, ensuring you’ll embrace your inner self. COBRAH is that girl.

2. STACE — Underwater

We are fully immersed in STACE’s tantalizing music on “Underwater”, where she manages to strike the perfect balance between dreaminess and tension. On a subdued, yet engaging melody, the Belgian artist uses her voice to add just the right touches, moving us from start to finish. STACE does not need grand arrangements or overwhelming outpourings to tell her story. In her own pure way, STACE effortlessly demonstrates her prowess as a convincing storyteller. Her new EP that is set to be released this fall will confirm her irrefutable talent.

3. Tkay Maidza — WUACV

After the acclaimed collaboration with master producer Flume, “Silent Assassin”, Tkay Maidza continues with a challenging sound that manages to give her raps even more rawness. “WUACV” (the abbreviation for “Woke Up and Chose Violence”) is another solid pool of underground hip-hop in which the Australian artist throws in her quirky flow to give a distinctive character to the song. The chamois-sweet symbiosis between hip-hop, soul, and pop of yesteryear has completely faded away, but we can’t be sad about that as she continues to release juggernauts like “WUACV”.

4. George Riley — Elixir

R&B is often seen as a genre somewhat tied up with itself and lacking innovation, but on “Elixir” Riley takes a refreshing approach that breathes new life into the genre. On the danceable production by Nick Sylvester (who has previously collaborated with Channel Tres and Yaeji, among others), she refers both to the past with dreamy synths and simultaneously to the future with uptempo beats. Like a musical, magical elixir, the British singer wriggles into our ear canal with “Elixir ” and brings the perfect late summer soundtrack we need to brave these warm temperatures.

5. Delilah Holliday — Liquid Pearl

Delilah Holliday is seen as the DIY from North London, but despite taking care of pretty much everything herself, everything looks and sounds like there is a massive team behind it. The new ethereal “Liquid Pearl” is the best example of this. With soaring, electronic soundscapes, she builds an impressive dynamic where beats lurk unexpectedly around the corner, giving the song a new twist. There are a lot of exciting elements in this single, which effortlessly pull you over the edge.

6. Saint DX — I Don’t Care

French multi-talent Saint DX celebrated his comeback in June with the single “Everyday”, kicking off a new era in his music. “I Don’t Care” is the second single from a new project and is the ideal soundtrack for late summer evenings where the sunset provides beautiful scenes. His vocal lines are cleverly used as samples to create the right atmosphere on the melancholic synths. By the way, the remixes by John FM and Caro♡ are also worthy of praise, offering incredible interpretations of this song.

7. Taloula — B.I.W.F.

Human beings can do a lot, but flying is not within their physical capabilities. Yet on her new single “B.I.W.F.” (the abbreviation for “Bitch I Wanna Fly”), Taloula wants nothing more than to get off the ground with both feet, and she helps us do that through some chamois-sweet R&B. If you close your eyes and just listen to the soothing track, you’ll find yourself in seventh heaven and seem to be flying for a while anyway. Mission accomplished, then.

8. LeBlanc and Fresh Boogie — GAME

Brussels, the Belgian capital, is in full musical bloom, where the hip-hop scene in particular continues to develop and emerge as a celebrated genre. An artist to keep a close eye on is LeBlanc, who joins forces with Fresh Boogie on “GAME”, giving Brussels’ dark sound its own spin. Alternating between Dutch and French, both artists bring their story, successfully grabbing your attention. When two artists of this caliber unite, you undoubtedly get a strong single.

9. Oscar Scheller — Apricot

London-raised Oscar Scheller is among the most beloved producers in the pop world, as he has worked with such luminaries as Shygirl, Ashnikko, Rina Sawayama, Lil Nas X, PinkPantheress, and Ice Spice. Meanwhile, he lives in Los Angeles and is finally releasing another new album under his own name. Coming of Age will be released in November, but thanks to “Apricot”, we’re already getting a little taste. On this single, he awakens a sense of euphoria and freedom in us, making us look forward to his long-awaited new album even more.

10. Creams — PIE

Back in May, we introduced Berlin-based singer Creams to you in our series ‘On Our Radar’, and our suspicion that she is a particularly intriguing artist is confirmed with the release of her new EP, PIE. The title track is ominous, mysterious, and haunting but comes even more to life in the accompanying short film Creams made for the EP. In it, she reveals herself as a conceptual artist with a clear vision and a distinctive identity that sets her apart from so many other artists.
