The 5 Best Songs Of The Week

The year is finally coming to a close and the end-of-year lists are popping up everywhere, but there’s still lots of new music to discover. From upcoming or debuting acts to international superstars: our weekly selection is extremely diverse and features a wide range of genres. Buckle up and enjoy the five best songs of the week. And don’t forget to subscribe to our Spotify playlist!

1. Rebecca Black and Slayyyter — Read My Mind

Our two pop crushes Rebecca Black and Slayyyter bundled their forces for their first collaboration “Read My Mind”. The song is—just like we expected—a real bop where both artists prove to be the pop goddesses we need in our lives. “Read My Mind” is the perfect climax for Rebecca Black and Slayyyter after their great year.

2. FKA twigs and The Weeknd — Tears In The Club

FKA twigs already has two iconic albums under her name and has been working on the follow-up in the past few months. To finish this year in style, she’s linking up with the international superstar The Weeknd. “Tears In The Club” is a tempting song where FKA shines like always and The Weeknd adds his signature magic to the whole.

3. Mustii — New Becoming

The Belgian singer Mustii is ready to share his new era with the world and has already given us goosebumps with the first two singles. “New Becoming” is another great track, where he builds up to a phenomenal and hopeful climax. It’s a song that comes straight from his heart and brings some light to these dark days.

4. JUICY — You Don’t Have to Know

The Belgian duo JUICY has been working hard on their first album, which will finally see the light of day in February. The second single “You Don’t Have to Know” sees them step away from the bombastic electro pop and is an experiment with strings in the lead. JUICY loves to explore the borders of music, and we somehow always love how it turns out.

5. FAANGS — DIAMOND BITCH

The Los Angeles-based FAANGS released her debut album TEETH OUT earlier this year and gifts us another music video to conclude the year. “DIAMOND BITCH” can be found somewhere between pop and hip-hop, but foremost showcases how underrated the singer still is.
