The Rumors of the Nike and Jacquemus Collab Are Finally Confirmed

Many people had a feeling that this collaboration would happen, but now sports giant Nike and French fashion house Jaqcuemus confirmed it! The collection is for athletes and now the whole world wants to be one.

Simon Porte Jacquemus shared the news and the release date on Instagram with a picture of a sports field, where both logos could be seen. Four hours later, we got a sneak peek of the 15-piece collection. With only a mood board, the eyecatchers are a dress with an open back and a revisited version of the Huarache sneakers. Shortly: earthy tones, minimalism, and iconic silhouettes are coming our way!

Jacquemus style meets Nike performance

“For this collaboration with Nike, I wanted to create a collection that reinterprets athletic women’s sportswear in a minimal way. I have always been inspired by vintage ACG pieces and Nike campaigns from the ’90s. Having this imagery in mind, we designed women’s athletic wear with sensuous details and neutral colors, along with my own interpretation of the Humara, my favorite Nike shoe. It was important for the collection to be accessible for all bodies, and to be a natural blend of Jacquemus style and Nike performance,” says Simon Porte Jacquemus in an interview with Nike.

The collection of Nike x Jacquemus launches on June 28th, exclusively on the website of Jacquemus.
