On the 31st of May Swatch launched its collab with iconic Japanese brand Bape in Tokyo. The design team from A Bathing Ape got creative with Swatch’ latest Big Bold model, resulting in six different watches.
Five different cities were the source of inspiration behind the collab. From BAPE Tokyo, London, New York, Switzerland and Paris will only be 1993 pieces sold worldwide. Also one international watch was added to the collection, which will be available in a larger edition.
Starting today the exclusive watches are available in selected stores and online.

Swatch x Bape was launched in anticipation of the Swiss brand’s latest design: Big Bold. Dropping a “what’s in a name” here might be appropriate. With its Ø47mm watchcase it’s the largest model in the entire collection. Big Bold was created to reach out to a more urban crowd that’s looking for a watch to make a statement. If you’re wondering if it’s really that bold… Well, we can assure you that it isn’t subtle.
At the moment there are six different colorways available, besides the designs from the Bape collab. You can have a look at the entire collection in stores and online.
