The Things We Should Remember From Men’s Fashion Week SS22 so Far

Without the buzz, we’d almost forget that in our past lives we used to be in Milan or Paris at the moment. It seems that “physical” fashion weeks weren’t that useless after all. In case you haven’t noticed, at the moment the Italians are going strong, and it seems like we’ll have to work on our leg game next season.

Yes, you heard us well … there will be no more ignoring leg exercises next summer as shorts will be everywhere. They come in all shapes and sizes. Knee-length at Ermenegildo Zegna, slightly shorter at Fendi, and Prada will be providing us with skorts.

No wonder shorts will become a thing next summer, after being captured by covid, it’s time to be freed. Bare legs are simply part of the game.

Shorts, shorts, shorts

Thus far the Italians didn’t disappoint us. Fendi’s fresh pastel palette has instantly made us want to teleport to next year. We ain’t saying no to that mini baguette and cropped blazer. We ain’t saying no to anything actually. Another highlight was obviously Prada. The collection made us think about our childhood wardrobe, the playsuits, skorts all are cheerful memories of those carefree days at the beach. Ermenegildo Zegna also was a welcome surprise, the ton-sur-ton looks are perfect for our Italian road trip next year.
