These SS18 Menswear Trends Are Worth Shopping

Last year we covered the trends for SS18 but in the midst of spring itself, we lost count because of this unpredictable weather situation. We feel like these cold temperatures are lasting longer than we’d hoped for. As confused as we all may be, here it is, a list of the best SS18 menswear trends to wear this summer.

It’s getting exhausting to see how many affordable menswear labels are not designing more cutting-edge collections. All because the masses that buy en masse prefer something basic. We mean, sometimes everything you want is to have an exciting wardrobe. So, we have accepted to agree to a settlement and see where and when to shop for good investment pieces. However, a combination of high street and high-end is another way to keep your closet/wardrobe on point. So, here are our trend suggestions for the summer.

Casual sport

Since Gosha ended his label, this is probably the last chance you’ll get to shop firsthand Gosha Rubchinskiy garments. So, grab it if you can.

Shop: Gosha x Adidas track jacket, H&M trousers, Calvin Klein sneakers

Stripes and Squares

For the past two decades, there hasn’t been a collection that lacked stripes and squares. It’s like those prints are sacred to some men. Nonetheless, when it comes down to trying out timeless prints we tend to go both ways. High-end, as well as high street, seem to work just fine for us.

On our quest for the next SS18 menswear trends, we discovered Éditions M.R. A Parisian-based affordable clothing brand founded by Mathieu de Ménonville.

Shop: Editions M.R coat, Editions M.R shirt, Editions M.R trousers, Blyszac sunglasses

Calvin Klein jeans

Under creative control of Belgian cool kid Raf Simons, Calvin Klein Jeans is back on the hype train. We’ve all seen the ad campaign photographed by Willy Vanderperre, starring The Kardashian/Jenner clan, Kelela, Solange and also Asap Rocky and his clique. Each and every one of these personas added an extra snazzy flavor to this signature CK western silhouette and we loved it.

FYI: the full Calvin Klein Jeans look costs €300.

Those straight-leg denim trousers

We were completely sold when these asymmetric straight-leg jeans came down the J.W. Anderson runway. From there on, the mid-blue €300 pants got us wild wild wild. The front zip, loose fit and asymmetric button fastening really do it for us. And if you don’t know how, here is a casual way to style them.

Southern Wrangler coolness

Wrangler’s resurrection started last year and since then we took the time to delve into their collection. Their SS18 ad campaign photographed by Belgian cool kid Stig De Block is the kind of freshness the label needed. Finally, the world understands the southern Wrangler coolness.

Waist bags

Waist bags, body bags, fanny packs, whatever! We just can’t get over them that easily. No matter what you name it, they still remain the best fix to carry all your important belongings. Besides that, they really do complete your outfit.

By the way…this Prada waist bag? We want!
