Troye Sivan Releases Quarantine Anthem ‘Take Yourself Home’

Troye Sivan aka the king of the twinks hasn’t released a solo song since 2018, when he released his near-perfect album ‘Bloom’, but quarantine motivated him to grace us with a new song. The South-African born Australian singer spread the news a couple of weeks ago on Twitter, where he stated that he wanted to leak new music. Well, he didn’t leak it but he did finally release a new song.

Take Yourself Home

Troye’s new song “Take Yourself Home” has been labelled as the stay-home anthem of these weird times and it’s indeed an anthem that helps us through quarantine. The release was preceded by multiple stunning pictures on his socials that already had us gagging, but his new song exceeded our expectations.

The song starts rather slow and intimate with a vocal-focused production, but a beat changes the sound of the song after a minute. We love how Troye is trying to create a vibe with a sophisticated production, which is exactly what we need in these days. The song ends with a surprise plot twist we didn’t see coming, but just shows how interesting Troye is as an artist.
