Uniqlo And Marni Worked Together on a Gender-Neutral Summer Collection

Italian luxury brand Marni and global apparel retailer Uniqlo shared their perspectives on fashion, which resulted in a new collaboration. A balance between the art-focused approach of Marni and the minimal approach and take on essentials of Uniqlo led to this gender-neutral summer collection!

The best of both worlds

The colors are mainly blue, green, yellow, and pink. The same bright colors that Marni used in its previous collections. The prints of the collection are not often seen in Uniqlo stores, but the dresses, anoraks, trousers, shirts, skirts, and pants are still the classic Uniqlo designs.

In a short interview with Lifestyle Asia, Francesco Risso, Creative Director at Marni said: “Throughout the whole process we have always championed Uniqlo’s ethos and the integrity that lies behind the brand’s vision, giving our interpretation of Uniqlo’s Life Wear through a slightly out-of-the-box proposition that combines impeccably crafted clothes with Marni’s offbeat and life-embracing spirit. I really hope that wearers feel good; that they feel themselves; that they feel free.”

Marni x Uniqlo will release in stores and on the website of Uniqlo on May 26.
