Video Premiere: Ginesse Invites You To An Avant-Garde Wonderland

Two times Emmy-nominee Cait Fairbanks recently released her first EP ‘Somewhere To Die’, a collection of five indie-pop songs. The project was written over the course of a couple of years and centers on some of her life defining moments. Today, we’re exclusively premiering the music video of “LA Isn’t Somewhere To Die”, the fantastic lead single of the project.

The beautiful visuals of “LA Isn’t Somewhere To Die” take you to a wonderful avant-garde wonderland and emphasizes the mood of the song. “If I give someone an emotional picture of a specific moment, that is truly special”, Ginesse says and that’s something she succeeds with thanks to the atmospheric visualization.

Light & Dark

Directed by Nathalie Fält, the slightly vintage visuals are reinforcing the vibe of the song, which can be described as intimate yet powerful. The playful contrast between the lighter and darker shots underlines the difference between Ginesse’s confident and fearful side but if foremost a great representation of how she felt in Los Angeles. A wonderful music video for an aspiring talent.
