WATCH: Adidas releases epic new video about iconic EQT line

After last year’s success with the NMD-sneakers, the three stripes brand is giving the iconic EQT new life. The EQT line, which is short for ‘equipment’, is a shoe line that found life in the early 90’s. It was a symbol of boldness and ignoring all rules. The iconic sneaker was designed solely to meet the athlete’s needs; performance, protection and comfort. The no-bullshit mentality was a success and the EQT line quickly became a street style hit.

In 2017, Adidas Originals is re-releasing the footwear line in a new design and color. Instead of green, they opted for turbo red. A color that stands out in a crowd. With the newly designed EQT, Adidas Originals responds to a world overrun with notifications and endless opinions. Everything that is essential, nothing that is not.

Adidas produced a stunning mini-documentary about the EQT line to teach us everything we have to know about the history of the brand’s sneaker. We strongly believe that the sneaker will be one of 2017’s it-sneakers. The sneaker will drop on January the 26th online and in selected stores worldwide. Have a look at the mini-documentary and be inspired!
