The longstanding friendship between Acne Studios creative director Jonny Johansson and Mulberry’s CEO Thierry Andretta bore fruit today with the launch of a special collection of leather goods. In case you ever wondered how a cross-pollination of the Musubi and Bayswater bag would look like, you now know the answer.
At first sight it looks like an odd match. Mulberry is a rather classic brand compared to the contemporary, minimalistic Acne Studios. However, this makes this collaboration so much more interesting. To make a long story short: the Musubi Bayswater can end up wrapped underneath the Christmas tree with our name on it.
The collection consists of 17 leather goods and will be available as from today in stores, on acnestudios.com and mulberry.com.
