The members of 1% for the Planet contribute at least one percent of their annual sales to environmental causes, and now Woolrich joins their ranks. One percent of the direct sales to consumers, e-commerce, and full-price sales will now be donated to roll out environmental projects.
That amounts to fifty percent funding and fifty percent donated goods, volunteering work, services, or ad and communication activities. They even estimate that they’ll be donating around 3 million dollars in funds in the first three years. The donated funds and resources will be dedicated to forest conservation, coastal maintenance, and urban renewal: the three pillars of the Woolrich Outdoor Foundation.
