1. The Crossover

Disney+’s new coming-of-age The Crossover follows teen brothers Josh (Jalyn Hall) and JB Bell ((Amir O’Neil) on the court as well as off the court. Basketball runs in the family. The two basketball phenomena are the sons of a professional basketball player who is adjusting to life after basketball. We follow not only the father but also the mother, who pursues lifelong dreams of her own.

‘The Crossover’ is coming to Disney+ on April 4.

2. Schmigadoon!

Attention musical lovers, Schmigadoon! is back with a second season. As an attempt to work through the bumps in their relationship, Melissa (Cecily Strong) and Josh (Keegan-Michael Key) decide to go backpacking. They get lost and find themselves in a musical town called Schmigadoon, which they can only leave when they find true love. In the second season, the couple arrives in Schmicago, a relevant period in musical theater.

‘Schmigadoon!’ is coming to Apple TV+ on April 5.

3. Beef

We’ve all heard about, or even encountered, incidents of road rage. But letting it start an intense feud is not something that happens very often. In the A24-produced series Beef, a failing contractor (Steven Yeun) and an unfulfilled entrepreneur (Ali Wong) bring out the worst in each other, taking it so far that it consumes their every thought and action.

‘Beef’ is coming to Netflix on April 6.

4. Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies

Grease fans this one’s for you. Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies is a prequel to the original 1978 musical with John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. It takes place in 1954, four years before Grease. We follow four misfit students who come together to change Rydall High forever and, in the meantime, establish the high school gang known as the ‘Pink Ladies’. Hopefully, this series doesn’t look too pure to be pink.

‘Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies’ is coming to Paramount+ on April 6.

5. Transatlantic

Those who love a good period drama might want to consider adding Transatlantic to their binge list. The show tells the story of Varian Fry (Cory Michael Smith), an American journalist during the Second World War. He traveled to Nazi-occupied France and helped around 2.000 artists, writers, and other refugees escape to the US. The series is a dramatized version of the story of two Americans and friends carrying out rescue operations.

‘Transatlantic’ is coming to Netflix on April 7.

6. Obsession

Talk about weird family dynamics. In Netflix’s Obsession, William (Richard Armitage) falls in love with his soon-to-be daughter-in-law, Anna (Charlie Murphy). She tries to keep both relationships going, but will she be able to do this? The truth often finds a way to come out, and whether everyone gets out of the situation unscathed is another question.

‘Obsession’ is coming to Netflix on April 13.

7. The Last Thing He Told Me

When Owen Michaels (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) mysteriously disappears, his wife (Jennifer Garner) is determined to find out what happened to him in The Last Thing He Told Me. But to find out the truth, Hannah Michaels must forge a relationship with her 16-year-old stepdaughter Bailey (Angourie Rice). This gripping limited thriller series is based on the eponymous novel by Laura Dave.

‘The Last Thing He Told Me’ is coming to Apple TV+ on April 14.

8. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Season 5)

The fifth and final season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is here. The series is set in the late ’50s in Manhattan, New York City, where we follow Mrs. Maisel (Rachel Brosnahan), who discovers she has a talent for stand-up comedy. In this final season, Mrs. Maisel, who goes by the name Midge, is closer than ever to the success she’s dreamed of. But she soon discovers that “closer than ever” can still be a long way off.

Season 5 of ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ is coming to Amazon Prime Video on April 14.

9. Dead Ringers

Dead Ringers stars English actress Rachel Weisz in the dual role of twins Elliot and Beverly Mantle, in a modern interpretation of the 1988 thriller of the same name by David Cronenberg. The identical twins share everything from drugs to lovers to the desire to do everything they deem necessary to reach their goal. They want to change the way women give birth. In doing so, they’re not afraid to cross the limits of medical ethics.

‘Dead Ringers’ is coming to Amazon Prime Video on April 21.

10. Citadel

Citadel follows two (hot) former elite agents (Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas) of a global spy agency, Citadel, that fell eight years ago because of a new syndicate, Manticore. The memories of their spies were wiped clean in the process, but when contacted by a former colleague, they have one mission: prevent Manticore from creating a new world order.

‘Citadel’ is coming to Amazon Prime Video on April 28.
