5 New Netflix Releases To Binge in January

If there’s something that helps us get through the lockdown, it’s definitely Netflix. The streaming platform had a big year and is determined to release even more exciting series and movies in the upcoming months. We selected 5 releases that will appear on Netflix in January that make us super excited.

1. Headspace Guide To Meditation

Netflix wants to explore infotainment more and experiments with different new series like Headspace Guide To Meditation. In eight episodes, you’ll learn different techniques for specific situations like stress or gratitude. The show wants to motivate you to enjoy life and connect with people you care about most. We’re curious to discover this brand-new series that might help us find peace within ourselves.

Headspace Guide To Meditation’ premiers 1 January 2021.

2. History of Swear Words

A life without using swear words is like ordering a Coke Zero at McDonald’s, simply unimaginable. Nicolas Cage stars in the six-episodes-counting comedy series where experts explore the history of all the naughty words we use while explaining where all these negative expressions come from. Fuck, we guess those motherfuckers from Netflix think we’ll watch this … and these bitches are right!

History of Swear Words’ premiers 5 January 2021.

3. Lupin

Netflix starts its year with the long-awaited series Lupin, which is based on the legendary stories of Maurice Leblanc. France’s superstar Omar Sy plays the lead role in the Netflix original where he plots to steal an original necklace of Marie-Antoinette from the Louvre. The action-comedy is said to be a thrilling retelling and will keep you chained to your screen.

‘Lupin’ premieres 8 January 2021.

4. Fate: The Winx Saga

Weeks before the official release, Fate: The Winx Saga is already one of the most controversial reboots to appear on Netflix. Apart from the scandalous lack of diversity in the cast in comparison to the original series, we expect that the six episodes surrounding five fairies will be quite entertaining and enthralling. Hopefully, the series won’t be a letdown like the choice of the cast and is just light entertainment to binge in one night.

‘Fate: The Winx Saga’ premiers 22 January 2021.

5. The White Tiger

The American director Ramin Bahrani belongs to the most important directors of our generation and collaborated with Netflix to create the blood-curdling movie-adaption of The White Tiger. Based on the New York Times bestseller, the story follows the journey of a poor Indian taxi driver who eventually breaks free from servitude to his rich masters and rises to the top of the heap. With none other than Priyanka Chopra Jonas as one of the main characters, this movie will be on many people’s watchlist and will captivate millions of viewers.

The White Tiger’ premiers 22 January 2021.
