A lot of artists are currently releasing new music. We’ve listed 6 albums that we can’t wait to listen to when they are released this Friday, May 29.
American singer-songwriter Alec Benjamin is releasing his debut album, something you just can’t miss. Benjamin is mostly known for his world hit “Let Me Down Slowly” but has much more up his sleeve than only that song. The pop single “Oh My God” has already become a massive hit and makes us curious as to what’s yet to come.
Belgian singer-songwriter Loïc Nottet gained fame after representing Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2015. He became fourth with his original song “Rhythm Inside”. Ever since the contest, Nottet has been busy making music. On his single “Mr/Mme” Nottet does something he has never done before; he sings in French. Sillygomania also includes the popular single “Heartbreaker”. We’re very excited to hear what else Sillygomania has in store for us.
We’re pretty sure everyone is excited about this one. Lady Gaga’s upcoming sixth studio album Chromatica features 16 songs. “Stupid Love” is the lead single of the album and a second single called “Rain On Me” featuring Ariana Grande was just released. Gaga has had to deal with a lot of leaks already, with Target leaking the tracklist of the album and the cover art also being leaked. Nonetheless, we’re still very excited. Definitely keep an eye out for our review of the album once it’s out!
Norwegian DJ and songwriter Kygo will be releasing his new album Golden Hour as well. The album features some lovely voices like Sasha Sloan, Chelsea Cutler, and Kim Petras. Many singles off the album have already gained a lot of popularity, so it won’t be a surprise to us if his album is an immediate hit.
Another Eurovision Song Contest contestant to add to our list is Blanche. The Belgian singer participated in the contest in 2017 and became fourth. Blanche has already released some singles of her album Empire, like the title song “Empire” and “Fences”. The beautiful visuals by Marie Wynants are definitely something you can’t miss either.
Famous DJ Diplo is releasing his long-awaited country album Thomas Wesley Chapter 1: Snake Oil. A track you definitely know from the upcoming album is “Lonely” featuring The Jonas Brothers. The album also includes the hit “So Long” featuring Cam. The album is supposed to be a mix between electro and country. Exciting!
