Louis Vuitton Announces the Debut of La Beauté Louis Vuitton with Pat McGrath as Creative Director

Louis Vuitton embarks on an exciting new journey with the launch of La Beauté Louis Vuitton, expanding the House’s vision through a fresh, luxurious beauty experience. Rooted in the brand’s signature spirit of travel and creative excellence, this new endeavor will make its grand debut in Autumn 2025.

A Visionary Leader in Beauty

A significant highlight of this launch is the appointment of Dame Pat McGrath as Creative Director. As a globally renowned British makeup artist, McGrath is celebrated as the most influential makeup artist in the world. Her exceptional talent and expertise have shaped the beauty and fashion industries for decades, and her collaboration with Louis Vuitton marks a new chapter in luxury cosmetics. Since launching her own brand in 2015, Pat McGrath Labs, she has continued to push creative boundaries. McGrath’s illustrious career was further recognized in 2021 when she became the first and only makeup artist to receive the title of Dame from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Redefining Luxury Beauty

Pat McGrath expresses her enthusiasm for this milestone, emphasizing her years of experience working backstage at Louis Vuitton fashion shows and her excitement in shaping La Beauté Louis Vuitton. She highlights the fusion of craftsmanship, creativity, and innovation in this launch, aiming to redefine luxury beauty beyond just products.

A Legacy of Beauty and Craftsmanship

Louis Vuitton’s history in beauty traces back to its travel heritage, with the brand crafting innovative vanity cases for the transportation of delicate toiletries, perfumes, and cosmetics. The 1920s saw Louis Vuitton introduce opulent powder compacts, brushes, and mirrors. Two notable archival pieces from 1925—the bespoke Le Milano kit for soprano Marthe Chenal and a luxurious toiletry case for Polish composer Jan Paderewski—highlight this legacy. Furthermore, the first Louis Vuitton handbags for women were designed with compartments to accommodate essential beauty items, underscoring the House’s commitment to functionality and elegance.

Make sure to keep an eye on their socials. Further details on the product range and availability will be announced in the coming months.
