The first seasons had some jokes that wouldn’t pass the vibe-check in 2021 and would cause a massive shit storm on social media, but the new series proves that the girls are as ‘woke’ as we hoped them to be. Carrie starts to talk more in-depth about sex, there are open conversations about gender, and the ladies discuss dating apps. We stan our woke queens (even though, it’s sometimes a bit cringy).

You’ve probably already read spoilers of the dramatic ending of the premiere episode, and we can’t deny, we cried on our little sofa too. This unexpected plot twist, however, shows that the writers aren’t afraid to take risks with the script and aren’t afraid of making decisions that will break the hearts of all the Sex And The City fans. And Just Like That is as funny and enjoyable as always and demonstrates that their golden formula still works in times where new important conversations are held.
