Ray-Ban Studios designed these limited edition sunglasses together with Sevdaliza. The Iranian-Dutch singer is known for her album ‘Shabrang’, which came out in 2020. This collaboration is a succession of previous collabs with musicians like Nina Kraviz, Peggy Gou, and Arca. Ray-Ban and musicians are like two peas in a pod: a very good combination! (We also can’t imagine Bob Dylan without the Ray-Ban Wayfarer on his nose, right?!)
The design is based on the circle of life and the changes that go with it, also some changes that Sevdaliza had to deal with herself. Throughout the transformation, these pair of sunglasses were (and will be) her companion. In other words, these glasses are designed to be fashionable this summer, but also all summers to come. The colored glasses are inspired by the colorful mirror glasses by John Lennon. (Yes, again a musician!)
